The GOSMETER mass comparators of the VLE-K and VLE-KS series are developed on the basis of precision scales of the VLE-C series and are designed for comparing reference and working weights, as well as mass measurements by substitution. They can be used as working standards for units of mass of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th digits together with weights, respectively, of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th digits for transmitting a unit of mass in accordance with the State verification Scheme for mass measuring instruments.
